"This edition of The Rubaiyat follows the original Golden Cockerel Press edition, designed by Christopher Sandford, and set in Caslon's Old Face type. The illustrations are copied from the collotypes in that edition. The presswork, on Curtis' Tweedweave Text, is by the Murray Printing Company, and the binding is by the Kingsport Press. The jacket was designed by Lauretta Sellitti, and the book was published in this edition in December, 1965." (Copyright page) Except for a name, "Enjoy!" and a date on the front free endpaper the books is clean and bright throughout. The cloth covering the boards is foxed; the dustjacket is price-clipped and a bit darkened at the extremes. Very Good/Very Good.
