Page block shows the usual age-related tanning due to the acid-based pages used in the printing process , else fine (unread) copy in very fine jacket. Not a remainder nor ex-library copy. A clean, square copy without price-clipping. The original title was simply the slash "/" character with the word "SLANT" in smaller letters below it, but the US publisher was concerned that US readers would be confused, so the "/" was omitted and "SLANT" only was used instead. Go figure. Thematic sequel to the award-nominated novel "Queen of Angels".
