Offprint from No. 44 of the "Beiheft zum Marineverordnungsblatt". Name stamp Weisser on title page. Weisser was one of the officers on board who landed on Easter Island. Bottom corner of map torn out without loss of text or other details, repaired with Japanese tissue paper. The rarest book on Easter Island. The officers of the Hyäne conducted the first archaeological dig on Easter Island and collected a number of artefacts as well as a brief list of vocabulary and three songs. Very Good.
