Ex-New Zealand General Assembly Library in a 19th century half leather binding with a gilt stamp of the library on the front cover and spine. Coulter was surgeon on the English whaler "Stratford", which left London in 1832, bound for the Pacific. His journal contains chapters about Cape Verde, the Falklands, Cape Horn, Chile, Juan Fernandez, Gallapagos, the Marquesas, Tuamotu Archipelago, and Tahiti. Good.
