Slight foxing, a few pencil notes, small spots of soiling, otherwise clean. Highly detailed working sea chart of the area centered on Rottenest Island, Swan River and Perth, and extending from Geographe Bay and Cape Naturaliste in the south to Champion Bay and the Geraldton area, first published by the British Admiralty in 1877, with revisions up to September 1882. The finely detailed chart reflects the revisions of the Admiralty over a number of years and also includes a large inset of Jurien Bay. Houtman Rocks are from the Survey of Commanders Wickham and Stokes, R.N. 1840; Soundings in hair line are given on the authority of Captain Freycinet. French Impl. ship "Casuarina' , Commanders Wickham and Stokes, H.M.S. "Beagle"; Captain Denham H.M.S. "Herald" Commander P.P. King & Lieut. Roe, R.N. 1803-1858; Aditional soundings by Staff Commander J.E. Coghlan, R.N. and officers of the "Meda" 1882. Good.
