Ex-library with usual markings, ibut also ncluding a bookplate of the Boston Athenaeum on the front pastedown, which states that the book was purchased with "the income of the fund given by John Bromfield of Boston, merchant, b.1779. d.1849." Bromfield was a benefactor of the Athenaeum. Covers are worn, soiled and stained, cracking to inner hinges but binding is holding, and the text is sound with the exception of a tape remnant to margin of title page, and an occasional Boston Athenaeuem stamp. Fair.
