The Committee of Claims, to whom was referred the memorial of Col. Francis vigo, praying compensation for money advanced by him to General Rogers Clark, during the "Illinois Campaign," in 1778.. submit the following report. (10) pp. disbound. Vigo, a patriot, spy & financier, was not compensated for the moneys he gave to finance General Clark's campaign. In 1875 the government paid a small amount requested in Vigo's will. Removed, no sewing, tear to inner margin, clean, no foxing, light age-toning. Very Good.
