We find OCLC recording one institutional holding, the Huntington, who dates the catalogue as 1888, however, on page 14, advertising "New Regulation Forage Cap Badges", we find the statement, "Adopted by United States Army April 12, 1895 .." so we presume the catalogue issued shortly thereafter to accommodate the need to meet this new uniform requirement. Rare.
