TEG. Gilt dentelles [with "GAZ" gilt stamped to lower portion of inner front board turn-in]. Red patterned paper eps. [6], 129, [1] pp. Frontispiece and 7 inserted plates, with color drawings by Jesse Wilcox Smith. 8vo. Spine a bit sun-tanned. Rubs to extremities & joints. Bookplate of George Zabriskie (with his marginal inscription presenting the book to Georgia Hexter, dated 9/37). Very Good. Provenance:  From the collection of George Albert Zabriskie, "a native of New York City, who was a prominent collector of art, books and manuscripts, as well as an enthusiastic supporter of many social causes and movements. He was a Grolier Club member, the Chairman of the membership committee of the Museum of the City of New York, President of the New York Sons of the Revolution and of the New York Historical Society, and a member of the American Antiquarian Society.".   .
