"According to a city directory of that year, the following represent a few of the occupants of buildings on the east side of Montgomery St. shown in photo. In the Express Building on the corner at right (erected by Samuel Brannan in 1853) were Dr. David Burbank, dentist at No. 125, who 'manufactured and inserted artificial teeth'.".
