Full leather cover with extended rear cover formed a belt to slide through missing belt loop on front cover. The cracked flap is detached but present (see image) : a beautiful gilt vignette of two sides and front of a steam locomotive. The book could use a new binding. Includes 324 pp + 70 additional pages of ads, reviews, Contents. This is a classic work on the early locomotive. An early printing, NOT a modern reprint. 24mo 5" - 6" tall. 324 pages. F4. Fair.
