Description: Satirical print in which supporters of the Royal House are tortured and executed. Kaat Mussel with orange bows, is tied to a cross about to be crushed by the executioner ('gelebraakt'). Adriaan Trago, the baker from Leiden, has already been hit and hung on a wheel (on the background to the left, a horn on the top identifies the baker) and on the right, Gerrit Brender à Brandis hangs on the gallows. The pastor Petrus Hofstede and the Duke of Brunswick are waiting for a similar fate. Prince Willem V looks to the left under a tree, but does not dare to speak. Below, in letterpress, the description of the scene in twenty four lines of text in Dutch. Etching and letterpress on paper; plate mark: 243 x 335 mm, total: 338 x 410 mm; crease in the middle due to folding: foldings and light damages along the most external margins.
