The last poem, entitled 'The Settlers', won the President's Medal from the University of Ontario, and the book itself won the Governor General's Award for Poetry in 1966. That said, the front cover has a gold stamp which recognizes that the book won the GG award in 1967. The Canada Council for the Arts identifies the GG was, in fact, awarded in 1966, which makes this cover somewhat an anomaly. Cover shows very light wear and discolouration; internally spotless.
