Good copy with beginning defect at the bottom of the front hinge and a small cut-out part at the bottom of the Préface (without loss of text). A few inscriptions on p. 36. Heraldic bookplate. ¶ On the front paper is pasted down the herladic bookplate (7x7cm) of Sir Francis E. Scott and his inscription on the second front endpaper. Sir Francis Edward Scott, 3rd Baronet (1824-1863), bought this book in Firenze, November 1847.
