Description: Lovanii: Typis Martini Van Overbeke, 1742; 343pp., index, sm8vo (19.5 cm), boards w. marbled paper, paper spine w. bleached title shield. Most probably 19th century rebinding w. 2 small library stamps, spine slightly worn, otherwise v. good copy. ¶ Latin text on catholic vision on 'mixed marriages' between catholics and protestants. The question already was adressed in the Trentine concili of 1548-1553 but stayed actual in the Low Countries.
