Description: Brussel, by Pauwels, Drukker en Boek-verkooper, in de Heuvel-straet, ca. 1769. Blind marbled wrapper, 80p. Ca. 21 x 15 cm.Printed in several lettertypes and with woodcut vignette on title and at the end. With a preface to youth of 31 and to 'Prince' of 11 lines in verse, followed by no less than 277 stanza's of 11 lines with prescriptions of the right way of behaviour in all things. Some small imperfections along margins; later marbled wrapper. A similar (Antwerp) edition in The Children's World of Learning 4077. Not in Waller, nor in Buisman. Inside somewhat browned in places; otherwise a good copy.
