RYSSELBERGHE - Feltkamp, Ronald: - Théo van Rysselberghe. Catalogue raisonné.

Title: Théo van Rysselberghe. Catalogue raisonné.
Description: Catalogue Raisonné: 2003 (24,5 x 29 cm), 536 pp. French text , ± 330 ills. in colour and 1700 b/w. ills., clothbound/ dustwrappers. ¶ Very sought after book written in French. The richly illustrated and well documented catalogue raisonné monograph describes the life and work of Théo van Rysselberghe and gives him his well-deserved place among the other great masters of his time such as Paul Signac, Edmond Cross and Georges Seurat. IThe catalog raisonné was created after years of research and through the cooperation of private individuals, museums and the art market. The multitude of images, typical of Van Rysselberghe's various creative periods, make it easy to find and identify a specific work. In addition, a non-Van Rysselberghe catalog has been included of 300 works that explain the gray area surrounding the authorship of these works attributed to Van Rysselberghe. Condition of the used book is used, but good. With a small note in pencil from the former owner on the title-page.
