Written by the French botanist and popularizer of natural history, Henri Eugène Victor Coupin (1868-1937). Coupin wrote a less rare, similar-titled work on Fungi too. Light shelf wear; stamp of a former owner, the pharmacist Paul Cendrier on the first blank; otherwise a very good, clean copy. Stafleu and Cowan, 1256.
