Original orange wrappers. = An apparently very rare work on the anatomy and ontogeny of an Australian fish. This is a complete part, published in two issues of the society's Denkschriften, vol. 4(51), published as part of Semon's zoologische Forschungsreise. The plate was published separately, and was issued with the unrelated plate 43 (here included). Also included: Gregory, E. H. Die Entwickelung der Kopfhöhlen und des Mesoderms bei Ceratodes forsteri (title page, 18 pp. [numbered 643-660], 23 text figures). Both parts uncut. Binding of text part broken, with the first and last few gatherings detached. Otherwise very good, clean, unmarked copy.
