Printed rear wrapper bound in. = A large and well-illustrated monograph, written by French malacologist Marie Eugène Aubourg de Boury (1855-1920), who specialized in wentletraps (Epitoniidae). The genus Stenorhytis is well-represented on the plates. Several new species are included. Published in the Muséum's Nouvelle Archives 5(4). With a stamp of the Muséum in the lower margin of the first and third text page, and a stamp of the American malacologist Richard Irwin Johnson (1925-2020) in the top margin of the first text page, above the drophead title. Small repair to the lower margin of the first text page and rear wrapper, first leaf verso a bit soiled, otherwise a very good, clean copy. Rare.
