Spine with gilt title. = A very seldom-seen paper by the Philippine malacologist Leopoldo Alcaraz Faustino (1892-1935). The introduction enumerates many, mostly 19th-century papers containing descriptions of Philippine molluscs. The very long species list has references to these works. Provenance: Inscribed by the author in the top margin of the front wrapper to the British malacologist Ronald A. Winckworth (1884-1950); stamp of the American malacologist Richard Irwin Johnson (1925-2020) in the top margin of the front free endpaper recto, and on the front wrapper below Faustino's dedication. A very good, clean copy.
