He paired a profound knowledge with great artistic skills, as shown by the fine illustrations that he made for these studies, which were all published in the Museum's Annals. Bound for the American malacologist Richard Irwin Johnson (1925-2020), with his stamp above the drophead titled of the first paper. The first paper a bit wavy, and one text leaf lower margin with a repair, but otherwise a very good, clean set.
