Written by the French banker, malacologist and mineralogist Jean Baptiste Bouillet (1799-1878), who lived in Clermont-Ferrand, near the Puy-de-Dôme. The work also includes a list of topographical features, uncluding mountains, villages, etc., with their height above sea-level. Uncut. Some damp staining throughout but nowhere really obtrusive.
