The Dutch botanist Jacob Gijsbert Boerlage (1849-1900) was both editor and one of the main contributors of the Icones Bogorienses. Present are the following issues: 1(1, 3), 2(2-4), 3(1-4), and 4(1-4). These include the plates 1-25, 51-75, and 126-400. In other words, lacking are 1(2, 4), and 2(1), or plates 26-50, and 76-125. There are two plates 370, numbered 370A, and 370B. All copies clean, unmarked, near mint, as published. Stafleu and Cowan, 595.
