Original printed wrappers. = A rare part, here present as an official offprint with special printed wrapper, of the scientific results of the German botanist Alfred Voeltzkow's travels. Voeltzkow (1860-1947) "...is remembered for his scientific journeys in eastern Africa and islands of the Western Indian Ocean; (Comoros, Madagascar, Juan de Nova and Aldabra). On these expeditions, Voeltzkow collected zoological specimens of numerous genera for study and classification." (Wikipedia). With the small stamp of the malacologist Beatrice LaRue Burch (1917-2013) of Hawaii, and another old stamp on the front wrapper. Wrappers slightly chipped at edges and broken at spine, otherwise a very good, internally clean copy.
