Original printed wrappers. = With contributions by many famous early 19th-century geologists, including Lyell (two papers, including one on the Hampshire to Dorset coast, with fine plates), Buckland (on granite), Scrope (with fine maps and lvery long, multi-folded views of the Ponza Isles), de la Beche (on the geology of Jamaica, with a fine large coloured map and profiles), Murchison (on the coal-field of Brora) and others. Wrappers and margins a bit soiled, old repair, with tape, to spine top, otherwise a very good, unmarked copy.
