Original printed wrappers. = Rare monograph of the Asian members of the family Hesperiidae, or skippers, with new species, including new species from the Himalayans and from the Malay Archipelago, or from high mountain regions to tropical shores. The full colour plates depict adult specimens. Published in the Society's Transactions, Volume XIV(4) with the original wrappers. Uncut, untrimmed, therefore with the fore-edge a bit frayed and chipped. Wrappers and top outer margin of the first few text leaves a bit soiled, binding between text and plate section weak, as usual, rear wrapper loose, otherwise a very good, clean and unmarked copy.
