Floral-patterned endpapers. = An excellent copy of a seldom-seenwork on the geology and geography of Ostfriesland, the region in northwestern Germany bordering the Netherlands. Well-illustrated, and with chapters on the Pleistocene and Holocene geology, the region's hydrography, its climate, its plant-geography, and its zoology. From a double pagination, and some plate captions it appears that this is an offprint from the Forschungen zur deutschen Landes- und Volkskunde XVI(4). Neat, small private owner's stamp on the title page, here also another library stamp, cancelled. A few spots, but generally a very good, clean copy.
