Original printed wrappers (8vo volumes) or stiff pictorial wrappers (4to volumes). = Rare long run of this important malacological journal. The first volumes (1930-1936) are in 8vo; from 1937 to 1994 in large 8vo (from 1947 onwards a trifle smaller again at 24.3 x 16.2 cm), and from 1995 onwards in large 4to. Volumes 96 and 97 were both published in 1967. A few early issues with the wrappers detached due to the paper quality, a few volumes with a small private owner's stamp in the front wrapper top margin, or a name written in pencil, ink tick marks on several front wrappers, a few pencilled annotations, otherwise fine, clean, very rare.
