Description: Tours, Mame & Cie., 1833. 8vo (20.7 x 12.3 cm). [xxxviii], 472 pp.; three engraved plates. Contemporary half morocco over pebbled boards. Spine with four raised bands and gilt title. Floral-patterned endpapers. Speckled edges. = A seldom-seen local flora dealing with the botany of the Tourraine region, France. The work is anonymous, the dedication is by "Les membres de la Société", but the author is known to be the French botanist, mineralogist, and microscopist Félix Dujardin (1801-1860) (see Pritzel, p. 93). Boards very slightly rubbed at edges, a few small paper defects (repaired) on the half title, not affecting the title, and a few, isolated spots; otherwise in very good condition - clean and unmarked.
