Later grey boards. Spine with red morocco label with gilt title. = Charles Giles Daubeny (1795-1867) was professor of chemistry and botany at Oxford University and published several books on volcanology and the several theories of volcanology. These two works concentrate on the volcanology of Italy. Some foxing on the plates of the second work, last plate of the first paper with marginal creasing and short tear, otherwise very good copies. Very uncommon. Not in Ward and Carozzi.
