Original printed wrappers bound in. = Rare and well illustrated monograph by the Italian geologist Alfonso Cossa (1833-1902) on the chemical and microscopical rocks and minerals of Italy including the famous serpentina lherzoliti del Piemonte. Uncut. Vague library stamp on front wrapper and a signature of Celso Capacci (famous Italian geologist, 1850-1933). The binding is rather plain but the contents are very good, clean. Cat.
