Original printed wrappers. = Gotthelf Fischer von [or de] Waldheim (1771-1853) was the founder of the Moscow Natural History Museum and the famous Société Impériale des Naturalistes, of which this is a program to a meeting and an early contribution to fossil stony corals combined. The species described and figured here are still valid. Offprint. The Cat. BM(NH) quotes the complete title with 35 pp., and three plates. Old owners inscription to front wrapper, hard to read but it seems to be from, or dedicated to, the antiquarian book dealer and author Wilhelm Junk. Wrappers a bit sunned, but the condition of the wrappers and the interior is near mint. Rare. Cat. BM(NH) 2, p. 578.
