Spines with gilt lines and title. Marbled endpapers. = A very good, uninterrupted set - from the start - of the first series up to and including volume 34. Well illustrated and nicely bound. Publication of the first series ended with volume 39 in 1897. Some shelf wear, some sections a bit toned, and apart from some occasional minor defects, e.g. a few spots, some wear to board edges, an excellent set.
