The first volume deals with the history of geological science in Poland, with illustrations of museums, institutes, collections, research methods, etc. Another volume is on paleontology - both zoology and palaeobotany; a third volume deals mainly with stratigraphy, and the last one contains the proceedings of a jubilee congress. In Polish with English and Russian summaries. Old stamp on front wrappers, otherwise a very good, clean set.
