Faujas" and the "nécessaire du minéralogiste". The plate shows equipment necessary to all serious travelling geologists. Written by the French mineralogist and malacologist Cyprien Prosper Brard (1786-1838). Signed by the author, as customary in those days. Spine cover rubbed with the gilt abraded, some, mostly marginal, spotting, otherwise a very good, complete copy. Ward and Carozzi, 303.
