I: [xiv], 118pp; II; 120pp.; III: 120pp.; IV: 118pp.; V: 144pp.; VI: 144pp.; VII: 94pp.; VIII: 90pp.; IX: 140, [viii]pp. Last page is blank. Title-page in red-and-black. Each part has a separate title-page; the title-page of part nine also serves as the general title-page for the entire work. First edition was published in 1707 [?]. Second edition [?]. Contemporary blindstamped pigskin over wooden boards. With the clasps intact. With a frontispiece. From the library of Maximiliani Ludovici Breineri SRI, with his bookplate. The finest example of the Trophy or Military plate known is probably that of Count Maximilian Louis Breiner. Maximilian Louis Breiner was a distinguished official of the Emperor of Austria in Lombardy. A striking feature in it [the bookplate] is the introduction, above the arms of the owner of the plate, of those of Austria, surmounted by the imperial crown, supported by a couple of cherubs. Both the design and engraving are the work of Giuseppe Petrarca, who probably produced them during the closing years of the seventeenth century (from Bookplates by William J. Hardy). Good.
