A minister of the Scotch church in Hatton Garden, Adams wrote numerous works which passed through many editions. In a full calf binding. Externally rubbed with wear to the extremities. Front hinge is tender. With previous owners ink inscription to the endpapers and title page, dated 1816. Internally, generally firmly bound though strained in places.
