A scarce work, with beautiful illustrations throughout. This work is a series of rhyming tales regarding many different animals. It also features the well known nursery rhymes of 'Baa Baa Black Sheep' and 'Mary Had a Little Lamb&apos. Illustrations are by various people including K Harke, E Harries and Newnham. In original pictorial boards. Externally, generally smart with bumping and rubbing to the extremities. Further rubbing to the head and tail of spine. Remnants of label to the head of front joint. Gift inscription to the front pastedown, 'With best wishes from Mummy and All&apos. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are slightly age toned with occasional scattered spots. Good .
