In decorative half-calf binding with gilt detailing and paper-covered boards. Externally smart, there is some rubbing to the extremities and wear to the joints, as well as fading to back strip. Internally, the pages are firmly bound but are age toned and have handling marks and ink inscriptions throughout, including to the title pages and endpapers. There is also some instances of spotting.
