Yoshinori Sakai, who lit the Olympic flame at this event, was born in Hiroshima on the day that the atomic bomb was dropped on the city. His selection for this key moment symbolised Japan's postwar reconstruction and peace.Japanese publication noted in an envelope loosey inserted.
