Places depicted include: Italy, in particular Lake Como and Venice, with photographs of Saint Mark's Basilica and Doge's Palace; Rotterdam, with the statue of Erasmus; street and seaside views in Clovelly; The Five Gables and other views in Stratford-upon-Avon; The Old Mill at Guy's Cliffe in Warwick and Warwick Castle; Gloucester Cathedral and Old Parliament House; Raglan Castle; the River Wye; Tintern Abbey and Monnow Bridge gate tower in Monmouth.
