With a previous owner's ink inscription, dated 1904, to the front blank. With a bookplate for, 'Worcester Public Library', to the front paste-down and library stamps throughout. In the publisher's original full cloth binding. Externally, a trifle rubbed. Shelf wear to the edges. Bumping and fraying to the spine. Small amount of loss to the spine. The front joint is starting. The rear joint is cracked but still firm. Fading to the spine and to the edges of the boards. Light marks to the boards. Library bookplate to the front paste-down. Internally, firmly bound. Pages very bright and clean, with some scattered handling marks. Previous owner's gift inscription to the front blank. Library stamps throughout, including to the frontispiece and title page.
