Letters are presented in facsimile of the originals, printed in text. Collated, complete. Richard Cobden was an English Radical and Liberal politician known for his associations with the Anti-Corn Law League and the Cobden-Chevalier Treaty. In the original publisher's quarter morocco binding over cloth covered boards, dubleur endpapers. Externally a trifle rubbed with shelf wear, minor chipping and loss to head and tail of spine, bumped to extremities of boards with faint damp marks to boards. Internally. firmly bound.
