First edition of Notes of a Naturalist in the Nile Valley and Malta by Andrew Leith Adams in the original publisher's cloth binding. Being a narrative of exploration and research in connection with the natural history, geology, and archaeology of the lower Nile and Maltese Islands. Andrew Leith Adams was a nineteenth century physician, naturalist and geologist. Illustrated with twenty five illustrations including fifteen plates, one of which is a colour map. Collated, complete. With the plate to fact 97 facing page 139 as published.  In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, sound. There is some bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. Split to top of front joint resulting in slight loss to the cloth. The spine is also faded. The hinges are starting but firm. Internally, firmly bound. The pages are bright and clean with the odd spot and light age toning. Good Only . Ill.: Not Stated. Good Only .
