Also containing a previous bookseller's sticker to the front pastedown of each volume. Uniformly rebound in half cloth with marbled boards. Externally, sound, with some shelf wear to the boards and bumping to the heads and tails of the spines and extremities. A spot to the front board of 'Schnick Schnacks&apos. Containing a previous owner's ink signature to the front free-endpaper of each volume and a contemporary ink inscription to the front blank of Buds and Blossoms, dated 1870. Also containing a previous bookseller's sticker to the front pastedown of each volume. Internally, front hinge is strained in 'Schnick Schnacks', but remaining binding is generally firm. Binding is very tender in 'Buds and Blossoms', with plate opposite page A2 lifting at the tail, and pages A2, H2, and two plates opposite H2 detached but present.
