Volume VI also has a colour plate as the frontispiece and five monochrome plates. The first and second book have book plate from Angus Smith, meaning this work is likely from the library of Robert Angus Smith, the nineteenth century Scottish chemist. He was was an environmental scientist and researcher. His air pollution research and outcomes came to be known as acid rain. The third book has the bookplate but the name is blurred and illegible. In half calf bindings and cloth boards. Externally, very smart. There is some bumping to the heads and spines of the spines and to the extremities. This has resulted in some slight wear to the leather, particularly to the bottom left corner of the front board of Volume V-VI. The hinges are strained.
