Withyham is a village and large civil parish in East Sussex; much of the earliest history of the Weald of Kent, Sussex, and Surrey, is related to the parish church of St. Michael, dating back to 1288.  Illustrated with drawings and wood engravings, numerous in text and fourteen full page plates, including frontispiece. Collated, complete. Rebacked in full cloth with the original publisher's boards and spine restored. Externally very smart with minor shelf wear, boards and spine bumped to extremities, general light soiling. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright and clean.
