In the original publisher's uniform full cloth binding, with decorative embossing to boards. Externally, generally sound with shelf wear, bumped to head and tail of spine and extremities, head and tail of spine lightly chipped, minor chipping to rear joint of the Western Division volume, holding firm lightly soiled to boards and spines darkened. Antiquary John William Clay's bookplate to front pastedowns. Internally, binding is generally firm.
