Illustrated with a portrait frontispiece and eleven further plates. Collated, complete.With eight pages of publisher's advertisements to the rear of volume I, and four to the rear of volume II.With the bookplate of Christina Elizabeth Schmidt to the front pastedown of volume I, and stamps of two Denver, Colorado libraries to the front free endpaper, title page, rear pastedown, and a small number of further leaves. No library markings to volume II. In the publisher's original cloth bindings. Bumping to back strip heads and tails. Library number to tail of volume I back strip. Light rubbing to front board of this volume. Front hinge of volume I starting, with board holding firm. Bookplate to front pastedown of volume I, with library stamps to front free endpaper and rear pastedown. Internally, firmly bound.
